An intense, refined, emotional wine that expresses the soul of Valpolicella.

Description

Amarone Dea Lualda, the flagship of Corteforte, is produced only once every seven years (provided the vintage allows it), by blending the best ageing barrels.

It is dedicated to “Lualda”, the ancient goddess of agriculture, fertility and abundance of the native peoples of Valpolicella (the Arusnati), before the Roman conquest.

This elegant Amarone reflects the qualities attributed to its own goddess: an abundance of aromas that recall ripe wild berries, spices and cocoa; a richness of flavour that harmoniously adds brandied cherry, leather and dried flowers to the scents on the nose; a flourishing, luxuriant finish that fully crowns all the preceding promises.
