Amarone della Valpolicella “Vigneti di Osan” is the cru of Corteforte. This wine is produced with hand-picked grapes exclusively grown in the hilly “Osan” single vineyard.

Harvested as flawless, perfectly ripe fruit, the grapes are further selected for the natural drying (appassimento) process, which lasts for a minimum of four months. The extremely long and slow fermentation, due to the high sugar content of the grapes and the winter temperature at which it occurs, allows for the formation of complex aromatic compounds that greatly enrich the final product.

Considering the wine’s structure and complexity, Amarone “Vigneti di Osan” will last 20 years from the year of harvest.
